Registrations are now open for Wetties who want to take part in the 2026 Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday 28 February 2026.
As always, we'd love to have as many Wett Ones as possible join us and make it a great night! We aim to make this a very inclusive entry, you are all welcome.
Costume
This year we are teaming up with Funkita / Funky Trunks who will be providing swimwear for this year's parade. We’ll be revealing our custom design soon. The one-piece comes in a choice of two styles; Funkita Tie Me Tight one-piece or Funkita Eclipse one-piece.
When you click the purchase button below you will be asked to select your sizing which is included in the registration cost. You can find the size guide here. Please choose carefully to avoid disappointment. Changes are not possible once your order is placed and spares will not be available for incorrect size choices.
Practice requirements
We'll be working with a choreographer to make us look fabulous for our 300,000 spectators and global TV coverage, the routine will be fun and for all dancing abilities.
It is mandatory that you attend all of the following times for choreography rehearsals:
Sun Feb 8 - 2-4pm rehearsal 1 (1 hour - choice of two sessions)
Sat Feb 14 - 2-4pm rehearsal 2 (1 hour - choice of two sessions)
Sun Feb 22 - 2-4pm rehearsal 3 (1 hour - choice of two sessions)
Thu Feb 26 - 6pm final briefing and rehearsal for everyone
Sat Feb 28 3pm - 11pm (Parade Day)
Mardi Gras is a fun event and like last year we have already booked to meet up at The Burdekin for costumes, make-up and laughs before the parade on parade day.

Get your Parade tickets while you can! These spots will go on a first-come, first-served basis.
Max of one ticket per member. Refunds/Transfers are not possible due to a change of mind.
Note, non-member family/partner entries must be aged 18+ and accompanying a Wett Ones member.
You will be asked to provide registration details which Wett Ones are required to collect as part of entry to the parade.
